In Ron Paul's second installment of the Dr. Paul's Walls videos he shares this time a framed picture of a quote by Senator Robert Taft on August 14th, 1940. It is a quote directly questioning the ability of the US government to use a compulsory draft in a free society such as the United States. Taft rightly compares this use of force to totalitarian nations! In fact this type of aggression by the state is completely contrary to the principles of liberty and a free state, but when your focus is preserving the nation state rather than the individual liberties of your people, well then the actions are justified. Dr. Paul has made this video in hopes that people will start questioning the government more on what they are doing on a day to day basis. The signs are there, unemployment is rising and will continue too. Wont we need lots and lots of jobs for our young men and women in the next five years? Wars are great at curing unemployment!
